Club Guidelines

Bicycle racks are located along the east side of the building. We recommend that you secure your tires and frame with a u-shaped Kryptonite lock. A camera is in place to help discourage thieves. The Club does not assume responsibility for damaged or stolen bicycles. Paid valet bike parking is available in the Valet Lot across Kingsbury Street from the Club. Bicycles are not allowed in the Club unless they are being used in a Performance Training class.

The Business Center and Lounge is a quiet area for computer use, reading and relaxing. It is located at the back end of the Grill. For more information about the Business Center and Lounge, click here.

Please comply with the following guidelines when using the Business Center and Lounge:

  • Meetings, food, beverages and cell phone use are not permitted.
  • Please limit computer use on the Club’s computers to 30 minutes if others are waiting.
  • Do not install additional software onto the Club’s computers.

Please note that the Club is not responsible for debugging or analyzing any problems related to your personal computer, and it is not responsible for lost documents or damaged flash drives.

There is a 24-hour cancellation policy for all appointments, reservations and sessions. Appointments, reservations and sessions that have not been cancelled 24 hours or more in advance will be charged in full.

In order to maintain the safety and comfort of all members and their guests, we reserve the right to cancel the membership of anyone who has acted inappropriately or has not complied with the Club’s Guidelines or with the requests or directions of management. Possession of firearms and possession, sale, exchange, or use of any unlawful controlled substance while at the Club are strictly prohibited.

Memberships may be inactivated as of the first of the month for a minimum of nine months by giving written notice and payment of the dues and charges accrued through the last day of the current month. A minimal reinstatement fee will apply.

For your protection, we recommend an initial orientation with our staff to become familiar with the equipment. • Talk as quietly as you can, as if speaking to a person next to you.

The Coat Check is open daily from October through April. Non-perishable items can be checked for you or the person you designate. Strollers can be checked year round. When Coat Check is closed, an attendant at the Reception Desk can buzz you into Coat Check to drop off or pick up your stroller. The Club is not responsible for lost items or those left overnight.

We ask that all members and their guests wear proper attire:

Employees are chosen after a thorough interview process and reference check. While we do everything possible to choose the right person for each position, we cannot ensure perfection. Therefore, if at anytime you are disappointed with the level of service you have received, please speak to management regarding the problem, rather than addressing the employee directly. This will help us to provide the appropriate coaching, counseling and when necessary, progressive discipline. Positive comments, written or verbal, are shared with the staff and are very much appreciated by all.

Tipping is not expected in the checkroom or in any of the program or activity areas of the Club. However, it is anticipated that members will tip for services rendered in the restaurants and bars and for other special services.

  • Talking on a cell phone is not permitted in the Exercise Studios.

Should an emergency arise, dial “555” on any Club phone and explain the nature of the emergency. The operator will immediately notify the appropriate person(s) to assist you. Many of our staff members are certified in CPR, the use of defibrillators and first aid, and they can be in the area within minutes. The operator will call “911” if necessary.

For your protection, we recommend an initial orientation with our staff to become familiar with the equipment.
