East Bank Club Indoor Triathlon

It’s tri time. Compete in a 15-minute swim, 20-minute bike and 20-minute run in our annual Indoor Triathlon. We’ll track the distance you cover, and prizes will be awarded to overall and age group winners. Indoor Triathlon Training Program

Train for the Club’s annual Indoor Triathlon on March 10 with this eight-week program for athletes of all levels. We’ll cover swimming, cycling and running in these fun classes that will challenge experienced athletes while coaching and helping beginners. The program will also feature an online training program to help with weekday workouts and to keep participants motivated. Entry into the EBC Indoor Triathlon is included. Long Run Support Group

Meet up with other runners on Sunday mornings for camaraderie and encouragement over winter long runs on the Track. There is no advance registration for this class.

Periodization Base

Transition back to base work with this month-long program. Each 90-minute workout is designed to help build your aerobic engine with a focus on proper technique, allowing you to progress to more intense efforts without injury. Participants will need to bring their own bike to class each week to ride on the CompuTrainer. Bikes should have smooth road tires and a rounded end steel rear wheel skewer. Swim Cross-Training

Swimming is an ideal way to cross-train, particularly during the colder months. This 15-week program is the perfect supplement to any workout regimen, and it will give your legs and muscles a chance to recover while providing low-impact full-body strength and cardiovascular workouts. Participants will improve strength in the upper body and core muscle groups that will improve posture and endurance. An EBC Master Swim Coach will lead these workouts, offering drills and feedback to improve stroke technique and efficiency. Participants will also receive additional weekly written workout to be done on their own. This program is for swimmers at a beginner-intermediate level and higher; the ability to swim laps is necessary.
