Whether you are training for an endurance or contact sport, our Performance Training Coaches have the experience and resources to help you achieve your goals.

From land to sea, and every modality in between, we’ve got you covered. All of our coaches have experience working with professional and elite-level athletes. 

Members are required to complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire prior to their first Performance Coaching session. A PDF of the form is available by clicking on the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire link at the bottom of the page. Completed forms should be given to your coach at the beginning of your first session.

Performance Coaching

Performance Coaching focuses on three central goals: enhancing performance, minimizing the risk of injury and increasing self-confidence. Coaches will lead you through sessions that cover all of the major components of training including muscular strength, power, flexibility, core stability, agility, speed, anaerobic fitness and aerobic fitness. You will also receive a periodized training program to complete on your own as well as access to your coach outside of coaching sessions. Sessions are one hour.

Small Group Session (three participants) $120
Small Group Session (four to five participants) $35 per person

Youth Performance Coaching (ages 6 and up)

Is your teen looking to improve their skills for a specific sport? Youth Performance Coaching helps young athletes gain strength, confidence and movement skills that apply to their sport of choice. Our coaches will also create a training plan for each client as needed. Sessions are one hour.

Personalized Swim Coaching

EBC Swim Coaches will create a swimming program that promotes growth and advancement in technique, speed and endurance. Receive a custom workout at each training session to help you reach your specific goals. Through the use of drills, in-pool critique and video swim analysis, our coaches will address technical problems and provide the means to correct them. You will also receive planned workouts for you to complete on your own. Swimmers of all levels will benefit from this type of coaching. Sessions are 45 minutes.

Open Water Swim Coaching

Work one-on-one with a coach at the Ohio Street Beach to improve your open water swimming skills. EBC Swim Coaches teach everything you need to know to gain confidence in the open water and perform your best. Learn and practice how to sight to swim straight, how to negotiate crowded races, how to make turns in a race and more. Intermediate to advanced swimming experience is necessary. Sessions are 45 minutes.
