Intro to Masters Swim Workout

This introductory clinic covers the basic elements involved in a Masters Swim workout, including circle swimming and interval training. Our coaches explain how a Masters Swim workout is set up, and walk participants through an abbreviated workout. This introduction will help those who are considering joining a Masters Swim workout for the first time, as well as those who simply need a refresher. Participants must be at an intermediate swimming level or higher and are encouraged to attend both workouts. There is no advance registration for this class.

Masters Swim

The East Bank Club Masters Swim Team offers a great way to stay in top swimming shape. The workouts incorporate interval training, and swimmers are grouped by level to give everyone the best workout possible. Coaches provide swimmers with tips for improved technique. Participants should be at an intermediate level or higher. Workouts are adjusted for those who wish to only swim freestyle. There is no advance registration for Masters Swim. Please note, Masters Swim will run on an amended schedule the weekend of March 4 to accommodate the Club’s Indoor Triathlon.
