We offer swimming programs for swimmers at every level, from beginners to competitive athletes.

100-Mile Swim Club

Become a regular swimmer and join our 100-Mile Swim Club.  Swim 100 miles during the year (January 1 to December 31) and receive a prize. Chart your miles at the First Level Pool or Fourth Level Indoor Pool.

HIIT the Pool

Learn how high-intensity interval training (HIIT) in the pool can help improve your speed in the water. For optimal results, we recommend attending all the classes in a given session. To register, contact the Reservation Desk at (312) 527-5800, extension 222, or reservations@eastbankclub.com.

Intermediate Swim Workouts

Instructors help swimmers improve technique through stroke critique and drills. These structured practices focus on improving efficiency, endurance, strength and speed. Masters Swim

The East Bank Club Masters Swim Team offers a great way to stay in top swimming shape. The workouts incorporate interval training, and swimmers are grouped by level to give everyone the best workout possible. Coaches provide swimmers with tips for improved technique. Participants should be at an intermediate level or higher. Workouts are adjusted for those who wish to only swim freestyle. There is no advance registration for Masters Swim.

Swim Cross-Training

Swimming is an ideal way for runners, cyclists and other athletes to cross-train, particularly during the colder months. This 16-week program is the perfect supplement to any workout regimen, and it will give your muscles and joints a chance to recover while providing low-impact full-body strength and cardiovascular workouts. Participants will improve strength in the upper body and core muscle groups that will improve posture and endurance. This program is for swimmers at a beginner-intermediate level and higher; the ability to swim laps is necessary. We are still accepting participants, and the class will be prorated. Swimming 101
