Small-Group Yoga Classes

Deepen your Zen and strengthen your practice with our new small-group yoga classes.

We offer a variety of classes that focus on specific practices.

All small-group yoga classes take place in our private yoga studio, Studio 6, located on the north end of the fourth level near the tennis courts and Gymnasium. The studio offers a secluded and serene environment complete with mats, props and a rope-paneled wall.

Small-Group Yoga Classes

Pranayama Workshop

Pranayama is derived from the Sanskrit prana, meaning "life force," and ayama, meaning "extension." In this workshop, we will practice light asana to open the body and connect the breath to movement, removing energy blocks and allowing a deeper mind/body connection. You will explore different breath techniques to cultivate breath control and access the subtler dimensions of prana that you can take with you off the mat. Rope Wall Yoga

Explore yoga poses in a new way by using the rope wall in the private yoga studio. The support of the ropes allows you to safely stretch deeper and hold poses longer while focusing on proper technique. Yoga for Moms-to-Be

Yoga during pregnancy helps expecting moms relax, breathe and stay fit, and it can improve sleep, digestion and mood. Yoga also relieves muscle and joint discomfort, and it provides tools for labor and delivery and post-partum recovery. This small-group class in the private yoga studio covers poses and modifications that you can use in group yoga classes and on your own. Chair Yoga

Don’t write off yoga just because you have balance issues or physical limitations. Mom and Baby Yoga (infants)

This postnatal class explores the traditional benefits of yoga and creates a safe and fun environment for you to bond with your baby.
